The paradigm has changed. We no longer wait until we are ill to get better. Nowadays, we are expected to take care of ourselves and stay healthy and prevent illnesses. It’s up to us to make the right choices that keep us healthy. Those choices are continuous adjustments rather than a switch that we turn on and off after a set time. Our bodies, minds, circumstances and our lifestyle too are continuously changing and we need to continue to adjust and tune our responses. Taking care of our health is an ongoing process which doesn’t come with a start date and end date. Nor should it be a diet plan that we ditch after a week or two to return to our bad habits.
